About us
INSPIRE was founded in 2020 as an academic spin-off of the University of Messina, with the aim of developing innovative solutions in eHealth, predictive medicine and healthcare data integration.
Over the years, INSPIRE has consolidated its growth and scientific expertise in the use of big data, real-world data, advanced analytics, algorithms and digital platforms to support clinical research, healthcare decision-making and the evaluation of medicines and healthcare interventions. Its activities encompass Real World Evidence, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacovigilance, drug utilization and appropriateness, healthcare data analytics, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, as well as innovative approaches based on artificial intelligence.
In 2022, INSPIRE was accredited as an academic spin-off of the University of Verona, strengthening its collaboration with the academic and healthcare community. Today, INSPIRE brings together scientific expertise, methodological rigor and technological innovation to transform complex real-world data into reliable and actionable evidence, supporting research, healthcare governance and the sustainable improvement of healthcare services.
Our Mission
INSPIRE develops, produces and delivers innovative, high-technology products and services for medical prediction and big data integration in real-world healthcare settings.
By combining advanced analysis of healthcare databases, ad hoc data collection through web applications and robust predictive algorithms, INSPIRE supports public bodies, pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations in improving quality of care, clinical outcomes and the sustainability of health systems.
Quality is embedded in every project through rigorous methodology, transparent processes and alignment with international standards in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacovigilance and real-world evidence generation.
Our Vision
INSPIRE’s vision is to build an integrated ecosystem in which clinical, regulatory and organizational decisions are consistently guided by timely, robust and accessible real-world evidence.
INSPIRE strives for a future where interoperable data infrastructures, advanced predictive algorithms and user-friendly digital tools reduce diagnostic delays, optimize therapies and enhance patient safety, especially in chronic and rare diseases.
Working within a dynamic network of universities, research consortia, regulatory agencies, healthcare institutions and technology partners, INSPIRE is committed to continuously raising the quality bar in the use of real-world healthcare data for public health improvement.
